Kate & Craig - Pre-Wedding Photos

With only a week to go until Kate & Craig's Wedding, Saturday was a fantastic opportunity for some Pre Wedding photos.
It was a beautiful Autumn day so we met at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne and discussed the upcoming Wedding on the 28th of May. After a lovely walk through the Gardens we went to Port Melbourne for some Beach photos.
Kate & Craig are getting married on the Bellarine Peninsula at The Vue Grand Hotel Queenscliff.
The Vue Grand Hotel, originally built in 1881, is considered the most elegant and romantic wedding venue on the Bellarine Peninsula. From simple and intimate, to the most elaborate receptions, the Vue Grand can cater for every requirement.

The Royal Wedding

The wedding of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine Middleton took place on Friday, 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London.
Prince William, second in the line of succession to Queen Elizabeth II, first met Catherine Middleton in 2001, whilst both were studying at the University of St Andrews. Their engagement on 20 October 2010 was announced on 16 November 2010.
The build-up to the wedding and the occasion itself attracted much media attention, with the service being broadcast live around the world, and being compared and contrasted in many ways with the 1981 marriage of William's parents, Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer.
An estimated three billion people watched the wedding across the world and 24.5 million watched the event live in the UK.

Gulsevil & Ismet - Wedding Photography

The weather was fantastic for Gulsevil and Ismet's Wedding on Monday.
As the Wedding Ceremony was a week ago, Monday was for Photography locations and a beautiful Wedding Reception.
After preparations with Ismet and the Groomsmen, Gulsevil and the Bridesmaids, we all ventured into Melbourne's CBD for Wedding Photography Locations.
The Wedding Photography Locations were: The Fitzroy Gardens, Treasury House, Parliament House, The Windsor Hotel, Flinders Street Train Station and The Langham Hotel.
The Bridal party and one of our Wedding Photographers took a short boat trip down the Yarra River to the Reception at Leonda by the Yarra.
On arrival, there was a sensation fireworks display by Geelong Fireworks.

Jane & Jarek - Wedding Photography & Wedding Video

Jane and Jarek's wedding day was wonderful! Fantastic April weather, beautiful venues, lovely food and great company.
After preparations with Jarek, we went to Woolrich Retreat in the Dandenong Ranges for Jane's preparations.
Woolrich Retreat was built in the The 1920s, many of the cottage Art Deco features have been retained and restored to create elegant accommodation.
Fine furniture complements the period architectural features, with a decking area overlooking the gardens to mountain views, the ambience is altogether alluring.
After a short walk, the next stop for photography locations was the Cloudehill Gardens and Nursery. The Cloudehill Gardens and Nursery are located at the
top of The Dandenongs where a maze of stone walls and jewel like garden rooms are set within woodlands of magnificent and historic, cool climate trees.
A fantastic place for Wedding Photos!
After a couple of hours walking through the beautifully coloured gardens we strolled back to Woolrich Retreat for an intimate Traditional Tea Ceremony and Lunch.
The 3.30pm Wedding Ceremony took place at the the multi-award winning Nathania Springs in the Dandenongs. Nathania Springs has a gorgeous stained-glass chapel,
ornate white timber gazebo for garden wedding ceremonies, forest views, water features and a beautiful undercover garden all on-site.

Happy Easter

for Good Friday and the Easter long weekend.

We will be closed from 12pm on Thursday the 21st of April and will return on Wednesday the 27th of April operating at our usual business hours. We will be checking emails regularly over this Easter weekend.

The weather sure was fantastic on Thursday for our photoshoot at Overnewton Castle for Melbourne Wedding and Bride Magazine.

which makes the perfect backdrop for wedding day photos.

Lisa & Walter - Wedding Photography

Lisa & Walter's Wedding day sure was fantastic!
Walter's preparations began at Crest Castle, located in Research.
Crest Castle offers a beautiful bushland setting, which was perfect for some photos with the Groomsmen.
We then went for a short drive to Diamond Creek for preparation photos with Lisa and the Bridesmaids.
The Ceremony was at the Sacred Heart Church in Diamond Creek. Afterwards, with very dark rain clouds gathering in the sky, the race was on
for family photos and photography locations. Luckily, not everyone got wet!
Despite the very heavy rain, Lisa and Walter were excellent to work with! Non stop smiles, and the photos look awesome!
The reception was at Ballara Receptions.
Ballara is a gracious Victorian Estate nestled on 3 acres of English gardens, with it’s own picturesque lake,
weeping willows and family of ducks.

It was great weather for Susie & Alan's eSession.
We met at one of Stonnington's beautiful park's, Hedgeley Dene Gardens in Malvern.
While walking around Hedgeley Dene Gardens we had a great chat about the upcoming Wedding on the 16th of April.
Susie & Alan are getting married at The Gables Mansion and Gardens in East Malvern.
The Gables is simply one of Melbourne’s finest venues for weddings. Located in the heart of the Gascoigne Estate, East Malvern and surrounded
by one hundred-year-old Cyprus trees, The Gables is a striking example of Victorian period architecture in the Queen Anne style.

Superb weather, a gorgeous bridal party, Lucy & Steven's Wedding day sure was fantastic!
The Wedding Ceremony was on the Beaumaris Foreshore with a beautiful view overlooking the Beaumaris beach and Beaumaris Pier.
After a big group photo, we got some great photos by the Beaumaris Pier followed by a nearby park.
The reception was at the Beaumaris Motor Yacht Squadron.
The Beaumaris Motor Yacht Squadron has breathtaking panoramic views
of Port Phillip Bay, great hospitality and yummy food.

A Current Affair - Channel Nine

Channel Nine's "A Current Affair" featured a story last night "Wedding Stink" on a Melbourne based Wedding Photographer.
The story was based on numerous clients feeling mislead by the packages that they signed up for.
Today, on the 'A Current Affair' website it is the Top Story.
