With Christmas just around the corner, we had just enough time to organise todays PreWedding shoot with Cuby & Jason.
We met at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne and chatted about the upcoming Wedding on the 7th of January.

The afternoon Wedding Ceremony will be at St Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church in East Melbourne. The Wedding Reception will be at L'Unica Receptions & Convention Centre in Parkville. L'Unica Receptions and Convention Centre is located only minutes from Melbourne’s CBD with easy access to Tullamarine Freeway and City Link and offers onsite parking. They offer modern cuisine with an extensive menu that is tailored to suit most tastes.

It was a beautiful summer day on Friday for Natalie and Adam's Wedding.
Natalie's preparation was at The Hotel Windsor on Spring St in Melbourne's CBD. The Hotel Windsor offers a range of luxury Melbourne accommodation options, but they all have in common the elegance, comfort and superior service levels for which the hotel is renowned around the world.

The Wedding Ceremony was in the Margaret Craig Room at the Victorian Marriage Registry office at the historic Old Treasury Building.
After a big group photo and some family photos in the Treasury Gardens, we headed off for some photography location photos.
The location photos were at Treasury Place, The Fitzroy Gardens, Collins Street, Little Collins Street, Parliament House and The Hotel Windsor. The Reception was at the The Hotel Windsor. We met at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne. The rain held off for long enough so that we could have a walk around the Gardens for photos and to discuss the details for the Wedding day.

It was such a fantastic day on the Bellarine Peninsula for Kate and Craig's Wedding Day.
Pre-Ceremony preparations were at The Vue Grand Hotel Queenscliff. The Vue Grand Hotel, originally built in 1881, is considered the most elegant and romantic wedding venue on the Bellarine Peninsula.

The Wedding Ceremony was in the Coach House. The Coach House has beautiful high ceilings, large arches and tall windows.
After a big group photo and some family photos we went to the nearby Fort Queenscliff, Point Lonsdale Lighthouse and Queenscliff Beach for some Wedding Photos.

The wedding of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine Middleton took place on Friday, 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London.

Prince William, second in the line of succession to Queen Elizabeth II, first met Catherine Middleton in 2001, whilst both were studying at the University of St Andrews. Their engagement on 20 October 2010 was announced on 16 November 2010.

The build-up to the wedding and the occasion itself attracted much media attention, with the service being broadcast live around the world, and being compared and contrasted in many ways with the 1981 marriage of William's parents, Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer.

An estimated three billion people watched the wedding across the world and 24.5 million watched the event live in the UK.

Preview Online: Wednesday the 13th of April 2011

Lisa and Walter's Wedding day sure was fantastic!

Walter's preparations began at Crest Castle, located in Research. Crest Castle offers a beautiful bushland setting, which was perfect for some photos with the Groomsmen. We then went for a short drive to Diamond Creek for preparation photos with Lisa and the Bridesmaids.
The Ceremony was at the Sacred Heart Church in Diamond Creek. Afterwards, with very dark rain clouds gathering in the sky, the race was on for family photos and photography locations. Luckily, not everyone got wet!
Despite the very heavy rain, Lisa and Walter were excellent to work with! Non stop smiles, and the photos look awesome! The reception was at Ballara Receptions. Ballara is a gracious Victorian Estate nestled on 3 acres of English gardens, with it’s own picturesque lake, weeping willows and family of ducks.

The Gables is simply one of Melbourne’s finest venues for weddings. Located in the heart of the Gascoigne Estate, East Malvern and surrounded by one hundred-year-old Cyprus trees, The Gables is a striking example of Victorian period architecture in the Queen Anne style.

The Wedding Ceremony was on the Beaumaris Foreshore with a beautiful view overlooking the Beaumaris beach and Beaumaris Pier.
After a big group photo, we got some great photos by the Beaumaris Pier followed by a nearby park.

The reception was at the Beaumaris Motor Yacht Squadron. The Beaumaris Motor Yacht Squadron has breathtaking panoramic views of Port Phillip Bay, great hospitality and yummy food.

While we do not wish to make any comments regarding the business featured in the report, we would like to reassure clients and future clients on a number of points and the advantages of booking with edward benson;

At edward benson we have inclusions not EXTRAS! The packages that are outlined on the website, include the coverage that is listed and the inclusions that are listed.

We provide clients with a hard drive with all original images taken on the day. In fact, within 14days of the wedding we send clients a USB hard drive, via registered Australia Post, this contains (Original DNG's, High Res JPG's, Low Res JPG's)

Who owns the photos?

Once, you receive your USB hard drive containing all the high res images taken on the day, you are free to print and share the images with your family and friends. There is no compression on the images, the images aren't watermarked. There is no 'fine print' no 'extra charge' you have the same copy of the images as we do.

Our Terms and conditions does contain a section regarding Copyright which outlines that the images provided to you are for personal use, and cannot be used for any commercial purpose. We often have couples that would like to have the images featured in magazines, newspapers and we even get asked if images can be provided for florists etc. If you have any commercial requests, we are more than happy to discuss these with you, and our approval process.

If you have met with a representative from edward benson you will know that we don't want you to sign on the day. There is no hard sell, Sounds funny doesn't it?! We like to ensure that everyone that signs up for services with edward benson is confident in our ability to complete the task. And that the package details have been discussed, to avoid any misunderstandings.

EXTRAS - Are we signing up for a Wedding Photography and/or Wedding Video Package that we will end up having to pay more?

The Terms and Conditions contract provided, before signing up for services with edward benson, will outline; the package, the package price, the coverage on the day & what is included in the package. The option is available to extend the coverage beyond the package but this is something we discuss with you before booking.

Wedding Photography Albums

The albums that are provided in our Wedding Photography Packages that include an album, include the following; Clients have the option to select from the original images, which images are to be used in the album. The layout/design for the album is then completed, at this stage the client is welcome to make any chages. Once the design is completed, the Wedding Photography Album(s) are then ordered. This is all included in the package price.

Clients are offered the opportunity to purchase additional/parent wedding albums, pricing is available upon request.

Duration of the Wedding video & Wedding Video Style

The Wedding Videos at edward benson aren't a specific length. On the Wedding Day there is preparations, The Ceremony, Photography Locations and then coverage at the reception. This is generally 90mins, but this depends on the Ceremony length and reception coverage.

How long does it take to get everything?

From the wedding date the delivery address is dependent on receiving all the client requested material In order to ensure that all of our clients receive their product(s) as soon as possible, we request that any client requested material is provided within forty-five (45) days after your wedding day. Recently, delivery for a Wedding Photography & Wedding Video package was 5 weeks.

Proofs, what are Proofs? Do we get Proofs?

A proof is a term related to low resolution images provided to the client, for the client to select images. We do not provide proofs. We provide clients with a copy of all high resolution images, for the client to select images.

The Fine Print!

We have a very open book policy at edward benson, and as such there is no fine print. All information regarding packages is available on our website. Our Wedding Photography & Wedding Video Packages have been put together based on our previous clients requests and experiences. We understand that no Wedding is the same, and each is unique and beautiful. After the Wedding Ceremony in the beautiful historic Church we did some Wedding Photos with family and friends. Being right in the centre of Melbourne's CBD, there were so many great options for Wedding Photography Locations.

We started off with a couple of spots around St Paul's Cathedral, then went for a walk to get a few different locations and looks for the Wedding Photos. The Wedding Photography Locations were; St Paul's Cathedral, Federation Square, Flinders Street, The Forum Theatre, Hosier Lane for some Grafitti Shots, 147 Collins St, The Old and Rare Bookshop on Collins St, The City Square and finally Lagoon Pier in Port Melbourne for some Wedding Photos on the beach.

The reception was at The Manor on High in Epping. The Manor on High has a reputation for exceptional quality, and yet again we were pleasantly impressed. Beautifully furnished facilities, fantastic food, what more could you want?

Congratulations Nicole & George! It was such a fun day.

As the weather has been unpredictable for the month of February, to say the least, we sure were greatful for the non stop sunshine and wanted to fit as many Wedding Photography locations as possible.

With only a few short hours before the reception we started out with some shots out the front of the church. The team then went into Melbourne's CBD for the follwing Wedding Photography locations; Tram tracks on Collins St, ANZ Building on Collins St, 333 Collins St, GPO which is located right in the centre of the city on Bourke St, Port Melbourne Pier, Port Melbourne Beach and finally Fawkner Park.

Family photos, great food, traditional music and dancing made the reception at Merrimu Receptions in Murrumbeena an excellent evening.

With over 7,000 people through the door in just one day, once again they've put on a fantastic Bridal Expo at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The Wedding Ceremony was at St Michael's Church on Collins St in Melbourne's CBD. St Michael's is a beautiful heritage listed building, complete with a welcoming warmth and ambience unsurpassed.

After a great Wedding Ceremony and some family photos, we started the Wedding Photography Locations at Southbank, followed by Brighton Beach and Kamesburg Gardens - Anzac House (Brighton).

The Reception was in the Gala Room at the Brighton Savoy. The Brighton Savoy offers an exquisite and memorable wedding reception on Port Phillip Bay, the Gala Room caters for comfort and style. We also had our Wedding Photo Booth which provided an opportunity for some fun photos with family and friends. Check out the preview video & photos from the wedding day.

The Wedding Ceremony was in the beautiful chapel at the multi-award winning Nathania Springs in the Dandenong Ranges. Photography locations included on the grounds were a lovely white gazebo, forest views and some great water features.

The recption started off with a great entrance by the bridal party.
We also had our Wedding Photo Booth which provided an opportunity for some fun photos.
